This week I want to write about INTEGRITY and ETHICS. Do you know what is
integrity???What is ethics??? Okey, let me give you the definition of integrity
and ethics.
Integrity
is the nature of self-identity that includes honesty, sincere, trust, truth,
adhere to the principle, not easily influenced, reliable, keeping promises, and
so on. While, ethics is to understand the
value that is associated with
human behavior, moral behavior, define right and wrong, good
and bad, which should and should not do in
human behavior.
In my opinion, the integrity can be divided into two parts, the individual and the organization. Integrity refers to individuals based on the principles of quality and adhere to honesty, to keep promises, and high moral practice. In terms of individuals, the integrity of the alignment between the action and the morality, ethics and law as well as self-interest with the public interest. Meanwhile, the organization is reflected in the implementation of the code of ethics, charter or systems and work processes and adherence to best practices. Overall integrity, whether at the individual or organization means a code of behavior. If everyone implemented in accordance with the behavior of what has been prescribed by the religion, so society or the country will be a viable, competitive and visionary.
Furthermore, ethics is a principle that is used to determine the right or wrong, positive or negative of an action. Ethics is also mirrors the behavior of a either accepted or not in terms of the probation. Now too many ethical issues that made headlines. Without ethics, then there was an unhealthy practices such as bribery, embezzlement, and so on, which eventually led to the collapse of the organization. There are five factors that shape individual ethics. Among them is the family influence, peer influence, life experience, personal values and morality, and finally factor conditions. However, of the five factors that most strongly peer influence . Individuals are too easily influenced by friends. If you are friends with people of good character, then it's good . If not good, it be a lack of moral goodness.
